This is a venerable name along Philadelphia's "Jewelers Row". Joseph Aion established the firm in 1914. Presently run by Milton I. Aion, it was originally engaged in the business of jewelry repairs and special orders ("Special Orders" meant custom designed pieces.) The company over the years designed material for Josiah Wedgwood & Sons and Bing & Grondahl (the Danish porcelain people).
